What If She's Playing Hard-To-Get?
Suppose you meet a new woman at a bar, and the two of you have a really good chat. After about half an hour, you ask her to dance, since it seemed like a real logical thing to do after a chat. But, to your surprise, she says no. She also refuses to give you her number. But after you rejoin your friends at your table, you find her dancing with someone else soon after - in full view of you.
Is she playing hard-to-get? What do you do in this situation?
Well, there are a few reasons why a woman would act as though she's really interested in you, but suddenly refuse to go any further beyond the initial chat. Here are some possible reasons:
#1 - She probably noticed you were very attracted to her, so she decided to play hard-to-get to see if you'd go the extra mile to give her a good time. Women who do this have probably met a lot of other men in the past who engaged her in the same stimulating initial conversation. Playing hard-to-get is their way of finding out whether you're any different from everyone else.
#2 - She knows that playing hard-to-get is a great way to create some a bit of naughty fun in a new relationship, and is waiting to see if you'll do the same. Here's a tip: The "boys" won't do the same and continue to be nice and formal, while the "men" know that two can play the hard-to-get game.
#3 - She knows you want her badly. Why else would she play hard-to-get when she knows she already has you wrapped around her little finger?
Whatever the reason, it all boils down to one single aspect - she wants to know whether you're a man or a wuss. Believe me, women who play hard-to-get have gone through their share of wussies in the dating game, and are tired of meeting men who do nothing but follow all the rules. They'd like to meet strong, confident, funny men for a change - men who can beat her at her own game.
If you're in this situation, it's best if you don't keep begging for her number. You may leave empty-handed in your first try, but make sure you don't act the same way should you be lucky enough to meet her the second time. Don't ask for her number, don't ask her to dance - just chat it up, and leave her right after.
When she starts approaching you for a change, then you can bet you're doing something right.
